As you can probably tell, I'm going to be bragging on how cool my husband is. if you don't want to hear it, please skip this post.
Last week Adam and I went on a date. We went to IHOP...kind of. I had been looking forward to their pineapple upside down pancakes. Well we pulled up and they were closed. Seriously...IHOP was closed. Who ever heard of an IHOP closing, let alone at 10 PM. I didn't get my pancakes. I was pretty bummed. The only place that was opened was Denny's, and they have fake eggs and dried hash browns. That is to say, it's not my favorite place to eat. So we ate and went home, sorely disappointed. I went to bed soon after. Adam didn't get to bed til much later. When I woke up I found coconut shells on the counter and some strange things in the fridge.
Adam had gone to walmart in the middle of the night, and purchased all the ingredients to make me pineapple upside down pancakes, including home made coconut syrup. Since he couldn't find coconut milk, he ground the fresh coconut and milked it. Yes, I pretty much have the best husband ever.
He's also talented. He took some video of my nephew, Gage, and made his light saber glow, and swish. He is very cool. Wish I had it to post....I will try to get it from him so I can show you all how AMAZING he is.
On a side note, there is two inches of snow outside, and my dog's legs are Juuuuust about that long....you can imagine how entertaining it is to take hinm outside....Muah ha ha ha ha ha!
I have an AWESOME hubby

SPAAAAAAAAAAZ!
Okay so my dog is spaztastic. There are several things that he does that I worry about (after laughing for several minutes.) One of those things is, when he gets wound up, he will run circles around our couch. I'm sorry, did I say run? That doesn't quite describe this action. It sounds like he is ripping the carpet off the floor. During the last bout of this happening he started springing from the love seat to the rocker. The last time he did this he only got one foot over the arm of the chair. guess what that means....face first into the side of the couch. It was classic. My dog is a frickin genius.
Another thing is my dog thinks he is a cat. He will climb up on the back of the couch and curl up to go to sleep. He also balances on the window ledge. I guess this is a good thing because Adam wants a cat. Not only am I prejudice against cats, I'm severely allergic. So I guess this fills both our needs?
He also tries to run on our linoleum. He will bound in place a couple of times before he is finally able to get any traction. All said, he makes us laugh for a long time, and we hope to keep it that way.

MLIA
My life is average. I don't live in a big house, I've never done anything extraordinary. I'm not rich. I work 8 hours a day as mid level management. I'm pretty much just your average Jane. I'll never be a senator or a movie star or a rock star. I don't do anything especially exciting. I hope one day I'll be a mom. BUT I have a great husband and live in a town I love with a naughty dog who I wouldn't trade for anything because he loves me. Yup. My live is average....but I wouldn't have it any other way.

101 Things in 1001 days
So my friend, Kimi, who writes a fabulous blog, and column and while reading I was inspired to follow her example and set 101 goals to be accomplish 101 goals in 1001 days. There are rules, and they are as follows: Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represent some amount of effort on your part).
I'm going to start today and (Kimi if you read this thanks for the wonderful idea, and I hope you don't mind if I steal some of your goals :) ) my ending date will be July 2, 2012.
