When I googled "beauty products" that's 'approximately' how many pages were returned. Pages and pages of products claiming to make me more beautiful. Make me thinner, make me glamorous, make me....something I am not. I was watching TV and the "Relacore" commercial. "Do you have body fat? Body fat is unattractive and hard to get rid of." Click change the channel. "Do you have unattractive scars?" Click change the channel. Who are you to tell me that I am not good enough. That I'm not attractive. "They" are the 'it' people. I am a natural woman. I am a proud plus size woman. I am sick of the 'it' people telling the world what is and is not attractive. Because let me tell you something, what "they" say I should look like...isn't reality. Take a look....
So next time, women, plus size or petite, you think that you aren't good enough...remember 'they' are full of it. 'They' are just trying to sell you 3,300,000 web sites worth of beauty products. You are beautiful, you are good enough, and there is someone who loves you.

amen, amen, amen! i hope you don't mind that i read your blog..i stole the site from amie's. there is a commercial for dove, about little girls who think they aren't good enough, or pretty enough and every time i see it i start BAWLING like a little kid...i hate that kids, mostly girls think they are ugly cause society says so. thanks for posting this. you rock
Nicely said, Christy :) It is probably horrible of me but I love to see pictures of celebs without makeup and hair done.
You have always been beautiful...inside and out. Love you (and miss you)
There was a time when money was based on tulip bulbs, because the were seen by "them" as the ultimate. Who we are is based on much deeper value than anything "they" have to offer. I love you because of who you are, inside and outside. ...by the way the whole tulip economy wilted and died. It there a message in that?
Thank you for posting this Christy, it is the truth, and it is sad that is the way the world works. I wish everyone could look at the inner beauty, but alas people have been brainwashed to think differently, and its sad.
